It's a shame that finally after all these years main stream England is into Glastonbury. Just when it's filled up with totally irrelevant middle of the road junk under the name music. The leaders in England and many around the world are 40 years behind the times. They cannot solve our problems and most need replacing, despite the fact that they may be well intentioned and have done some good things in the UK like the NHS. They are simply not cutting edge enough to deal with now. In the past our country men were smart enough to see that Cromwell did not work and go back to monarchy. We need to go forward to a democratic monarchy now, because our politicians only think of short term solutions and the next election. In reality capitalist democracy has proved totally disastrous for the earth. It's only money and greed actually running amok. I would prefer Prince Charles any day over these squabbling politicians.

Here are my humble suggestions for what needs to be done to stop disaster now on planet earth.

1. No more oil should be taken at all from planet earth! It's a spinning machine which needs lubrication to run smooth! Nobody tells you about this! It is not only global warming which is screwing up the earth's climate etc. It is also the fact that you are taking out all the oil, which actually has a purpose being in the earth. What happens if you take all the oil out of any machine that revolves? It jams quick! You foolishly think that 'willy nilly' you can simply take out all the oil from the earth till it is all gone, and that nothing will happen!!! Those responsible are fools number one, and should not be overall in charge of any government! 2. No more nuclear anything! You are not calculating the cost to 200,000 years of our descendants to handle the, horrendously toxic and expensive to maintain, long term nuclear waste! Thus those who advocate this are criminally insane! 3. No more slaughterhouses! It is terribly cruel! There are karmic results for this cruelty, which include every war and disaster you are facing! Go predominantly veggie, only a veggie life style can sustain the huge human population of now, without problems! Small scale natural hunting (without guns etc) is ok for those who have no other means of subsistence 4. Death Penalty for all violent crime. No more prisons at all! No more guns! Death penalty just for having a gun! (OK - In America this will take time!). We should not have to pay at all, not one dime, to keep violent ,or any offenders for that matter, in jails! Being lenient with violent offenders is not kind - it tortures the victims and increases their number. Neither is it good for the offender, because they calculate the low risk and do stupid things which ruins their lives! If you are strict, violent crime will almost disappear! For other crime some kind of community service - certainly not relaxing in jail like now! 5. A democratically elected global eco-monarchy with power over all laws everywhere and guided by councils of kings and saints!  This need not interfere with any existing government, except on global ecological issues needed to save the planet as a whole! 6. Forward to 'Democratic Monarchy' with communist/socialist undertones, in that the government should provide basic necessities for everyone, as we return to peasant farming & horse/bullock and cart life! Huge agrarian reform is needed, so everyone who will grow food gets land ! Current farming is an industrial nightmare, or simply animal torture with a polite name and it all needs to end!

Otherwise (and probably) it's total disaster, quite possibly as soon as 2012! Nearly everyone will be wiped out by a virus, or something else, like nuclear fallout or polar shift! The Universal Guardians will not let you destroy the earth for future generations, with all your nuclear insanity!!!!! I know you and your governments are largely well intentioned. But your thinking is sadly out of date and factually stupid. Back in the 60's and 70's we were already telling you to move to an ecologically balanced and sustainable life, not dependent on oil. You were laughing at us then! That's right, back then, when there was still time to fix it, you were laughing at us! "Now you don't laugh so loud, now you don't seem so proud, proud to be having to be scrounging your next meal, how does it feel...." (Bob Dylan)  So now we have our UK prime minister going, begging cap in hand, to the Saudis to beg them to invest in our nuclear energy..! How sick is that? These so called leaders take our great country and make it a beggar state running after, and totally dependent on middle eastern and russian oil. You should have listened to your own, actually intelligent, youth - the hippies - back in the 60's. You were squeeking and sqwaaking then. Well this time if you don't listen you'll real soon be weeping and wailing instead! "they weren't listening then, they're not listening still.. perhaps they never will...!" In the past great British heroes of world wars (like my grandfathers) fought so that we would have a better future. Since then our useless politicians have sold us out to big oil! The politicians are traitors and are set to leave horrendous toxic waste to our descendants, wheras our real heroes in the past left us so many blessings. 

It's nice that you have now caught up with ecological issues, somewhat, and are coming to Glastonbury! But you are still 40 years behind - we have moved on! We don't even go to Glastonbury festival anymore... to see Neil Diamond....! -you're kidding right... is that your idea of hip? Glastonbury festival was stolen! You cannot understand the 'rainbow empire'! The problem is we do not have another 40 years for you to catch up, whilst you make more desperate mistakes which will cost future generations untold resources to try to clean up, if we even get there, and we won't with you in charge! You are stealing from your children's children and you are thus criminals, as the future will judge. Mark my words - the future will judge this accurate! They don't like the nuclear waste and ruined planet you are leaving them at all!
