Move On Move On

The world has gone

She’s not waiting for her lover’s song

She’s heard your tales

Your tales of woe

But she’s not feeling so – Oh no!

She’s seen a better day

And she wants to go free

She’s seen a better way

It lasts eternally

Move On - ah ah

Move On Move On

The world has gone

She’s not waiting for her long lost son

She’s gone she’s gone

Her time has come

She’s not waiting for her lovers song

She’s free like the water

That’s flowing throughout time

She’s free like the daughter

Who’s born of Old Lang Zyne

Move On - ah ah

Move On Move On

The morning sun

Is shining everywhere for everyone

There’s more to come for everyone

And its fun when we are all together one

So you’d better follow her

If you want to believe

Yes you’d better follow her

Its more than make believe

Move On Move On

The world has spun

Shining everywhere on everyone

There’s more to come for everyone

Riding on a rainbow to the sun

The web of the weaver is vast and intertwined

The plans of the schemer

Go way beyond my mind

I woke one morning in gardens green

Though I was lost in a city scene

And music came from a source unseen

All from the heart of my faery king

Now that I know I’ll find my way to go home

To live with him and I will no longer roam

When her heart was known

That’s when I found the throne

Oh faery king will you dance tonight

The sun and moon they can’t shine so bright

Of faery king take my heart tonight

The wind and waves they can’t hold me tight

I woke next morning all bathed in light

I had not planned on an oversight

It set my life in flames alight

Those flames of love they can so excite

And when you play rivers flow to the sky

And birds come down

And walk with men without fright

Even blind men have sight

Dumb men, poems can recite

Oh faery king will you dance tonight

The sun and moon they can’t shine so bright

Of faery king take my heart tonight

The wind and waves they can’t hold me tight

Your love lasts never past

It’s a blast how true love lasts forever

And never dies

love never dies

I Woke next morning in gardens green

Though I was lost in a city scene

And music came from a source unseen

Flows from the heart of my faery king

And when you play

the beast sits down with the bride

and flowers bloom

and what was wrong becomes right

to a forest glade make flight

in the dead of night

Oh faery king will you dance tonight

The sun and moon they can’t shine so bright

Of faery king take my heart tonight

The wind and waves they can’t hold me tight

Oh faery king take my soul to flight

You made the world come all alive

Of faery king take my my soul to flight

You made the world come all alive

3. I Saw A Lonesome Troubadour

(Robin Runciman, Neil Duckworth, Martin Cockerham, Mark Francis)

I walked ten thousand deserts

In search of a golden beach

I swam the ocean deepest

For mermaids out of reach

And I climbed ten thousand mountains

So I could find the sky

I cried ten thousand fountains

For a world without a mind

I walked ten thousand highways

To test my broken feet

To lead me to the skyways

Where the Earth and Eden meet

My illusion was a desperate sorrow

My heart was filled with scars

Confusion in a desert sun

Filled with a mirage

Then I saw a lonesome troubadour

Appeared in my dreams

Saying all truth is yours

Just let your poor heart sing

Then I saw a lonesome troubadour

He stood upon the ancient bridge

To lead me through the door

Beyond the lunatics who are ruining these shores

I heard that lonely poet

Repeat his treasured line

Saying everyone’s an artist

There’s pleasure for mankind

If you listen to his world of words

Where troubadours are kings

Inside rainbow universes

Where bluebell angles sing

I saw ten thousand preachers

All speaking out of turn

I saw ten million leaders

All teaching how to burn

And I saw ten trillion uniforms

Where everyone was lost

I saw ten million lawmen

Hung by ropes with tongues in knots

Then I saw a lonesome troubadour

Appeared in my dreams

Saying all truth is yours

Just let your poor heart sing

I saw the tongues of politicians

 Crippled inside their heads

And the ministers of freedom

Who’d hung their hearts instead

I saw a billion battlefields

Where only greed was won

I saw young children playing

In a field of graveyards in the sun

Then I saw a lonesome troubadour

Appeared in my dreams

Saying all truth is yours

Just let your poor heart sing

Yes I saw a lonesome troubadour

Who stood upon the ancient bridge

To lead me through the door

Beyond the lunatics who are ruining these shores

Saying let your poor heart sing

And all the truth will be truly yours.

4. What Happened Charlie Darwin?

(Robin Runciman  & Martin Cockerham)

What happened Charlie Darwin

Where did we go wrong

Seems that the world’s evolving

Into a global bomb

They said I came from a monkey

But now that I’m advanced

I live like junkey

In a concrete trance

I used to eat bananas

And organic succulent fruits

Now I wear pajamas

And silly pin striped suits

What happened Charlie Darwin

Where did we go wrong

We slave away each day and never stop

Waiting for the bomb to drop

I used to swing from beautiful trees

And hang out with my mates

Now I live in apathy

In a city in a right old state

I used to have a happy life

I didn’t have to work to live

I had time for my wife

And to play with all my kids

What happened Charlie Darwin

It seems that man’s free will

Is really his enemy

And that we are all mentally ill

We used to live without money

Nor banks and concrete towers

Yet we had milk and honey

And fields of fragrant flowers

We used to live in paradise

With no anxiety

Now we shop and pay for food

That comes from God for free

So what happened Charlie Darwin

Maybe you got it wrong

Because the worlds evolving

Into a global bomb

5. Nomad

I’m not mad, I’m a Nomad

I’m not sad, I’m a Nomad

Nomandsland’s where I’m from

Maybe that’s where I belong

Planet earths a sinking ship

Gonna Get Off quick

I’m not mad, I’m a Nomad

I’m not sad, I’m always glad

I’m the son of everyone

Aint got a place of my own

Human race has no home

Just take what fits in your pack, or drop it flat

And what you give you’ll get it back

If it weighs more than a stone

Let it drown all alone

If it costs half a crown

Maybe be too many frowns

Leave it all in the grounds

Or anywhere, loves everywhere

Don’t have a care, empty your hands

And give it all back to the heart

And give it all back, you’ll never starve

Cause I’m a Nomad

I’m not mad, I’m a Nomad

I’m not sad, that I got no pad

Vrindavan’s where I’m from

Vrindavan’s where I’m gone

Cause what you give you’ll never lack

And you’ll get it back

Keep your balance in the black

There is love everywhere

Its all around you, you can share

Its meant to be, its for free

Take an apple, not the tree

There’s no complicity, in a life of simplicity

At the break of dawn, move along

Who goes around won’t come down

Keep your feet within nature’s bounds

And give it all back to the sound

And in the morning let it be composted in the ground

Cause I’m a Nomad

That’s a fact, down the road and that is that

I’m not Sad, I’m a Nomad

I’m not mad, I’m a Nomad

6. Everybody Get The Freedom

(Martin Cockerham & Mark Francis)

© 2008

Everybody get the freedom

To explore inner space and we can go

That’s a very secret garden

And I’m taking you there to get away

I don’t like the rat race

It don’t feel good

I like an easy pace

I’ll take what’s wood

There’s going to be a love at that

And that is surely coming back

Because it’s a fact

Everybody get the freedom

To explore innner world where fools can’t go

It’s a very sacred garden

And I’m taking you there to get away

You don’t like being alone

You know its true

And I don’t like it too

So give me you

There’s got to be a love at that

You know its transcendental fact

And that is pact

Everybody get the freedom

To explore inner space and we can go

That’s a very sacred garden

And no one who I do not like gets through

Because we’ve got it all

I don’t know why

It just came falling through

A spirit sky

You know its transcendental that

You know as flat as a pat

And that is a fact

You know its really coming back

Its transcendental that

Now listen here Prabhu

You know its really coming back

You know its really coming back

And that is that

Its coming through

Its coming back

You know its transcendental fact

Its trance and dental that!

7. Wise Men Say Krishna

(Elvis tune, Martin Cockerham lyrics)

© lyrics 2009

Melody 1950’s

Wise Men Say

There’s all kinds of official wise men

Saying things all day

I don’t know where they’re coming from

But they know how to make you pay

Saying wise things all the way

Wise Men say Krishna

Or they say Radhe, everyday

Yes wise men sit dumfounded on the stairs

With their head in their hands

And they’re ears covered up

They don’t want to hear anymore

Because they’re too afraid they might snore

Those wise men they sure know how to bore

And when they don’t they explore

They’re always conquering new territory

But it was already there

Because life just comes from Him

Its wonderful and its in

It’s a hippie convention

And a peace and love paradise invention

At the end of a stenchion

In detention – eyohh

Wise Men say Krishna

Or they say Radhe Shyam

Radhe Radhe

Wise Men love Krishna

Because He’s just so loveable

He’s the source of the stars

Cause Krishna’s always there

He’s the one who cares

He’ll take away your wares

And leave you free like a bird

Or like a song in Spring

So wise men say Krishna

Or they say Radhe Shyam

Radhe Radhe

Wise men chant

Except when they can’t!

Radhe Shyam

Wise men think too much

They ought to just get in touch

With their inner Krishna

Then they might solve a few of their problems

Those wise old sods

8. I’m Marrying Myself In The Early Spring

(Robin Runciman & Martin Cockerham)

© 2008

I’ve just fallen in love with myself

Now I don’t need anybody else

I look in the mirror

Every night and day

I’m making sure I didn’t go away

I’m marrying myself in the early spring

Does anyone know the joy it will bring

I bought myself a diamond ring

I can hear bells and angles sing

I told the vicar what he ought to say

That the perfect wedding is on the way

Bring out the bride bring out the groom

We’re going fror ride round the honey moon

Now I won’t get shot by the poisoned dart

Of Cupid’s arrow going through my heart

No more wars with mother in laws

No more bores called father in laws

I’m always with me and isn’t that great

I’m never out late, on another date

I can wine and dine and dance through the night

I can do what I like, whenever I like

I don’t need a lawyer to get a divorce

Or paranoia fighting in courts

I don’t need a horse in the back of my Porsche

Or their crazy laws going up my exhaust

Now I’ve found a lover who’s always in bliss

Yes I’m the best lover that I’ve been with

Swinging my hips, kissing my lips

I’m the best lover there is

I’m marrying myself in the early spring

Does anyone know the joy it will bring

I bought myself a diamond ring

I can hear bells and angles sing

Now that I’ve found this wonderful team

I don’t need to run to the mountain streams

I won’t have to listen to those high pitched screams

Cause I’m with the one of my wildest dreams

So I’m meeting myself somewhere in between

Cause the male and the female are always within

9. Love Roll Me Over

(Martin Cockerham, Mark Francis, Alex Gray)

© 2008

Love Roll Me Over, and bring me back alive

I don’t know why I waited all this time

Love Roll Me Over, don’t leave me on the ground

I’ll give you anything, I wanna hear your sound

We’ve got to build a house

In which the whole world can live in peace

Cause there never was a mystery, we just might reach the sea

Love Roll Me Over and plough me underneath

I like the churning of your heath

I like the clover underneath

I like the earth beneath my feet

In times to come people may come alive

All of their dreams could still be realised

And they won’t worry, they’ll be so high

No they won’t worry, they’ll be fine

We had tried to believe in truth

And we had waited way past youth

We were still at the crest of the wave

When it broke on the shores of slaves

Love Roll Me Over and bring me with your crowd

They’re always singing your name aloud

They’re always going down the sea shore side

Singing your name and dancing alive

Love Roll Me Over and save me from these days

Into the presence of love’s purple haze

Love Roll Me Over and bring me to your heart

I’ve known all along, I heard the lark

Love Roll Me Over and bring me to your calm

I’ve always known, everybody’s raam

Love Roll Me Over and bring me to the calm

Calm at the universe

10. Purple Swan

(Robin Runciman & Martin Cockerham)

© 2008

I’m climbing the creative mountain

To find the rainbow stream

To take me to the fountain

That’s beyond my wildest dream

I’m depending on mother nature

To take me by her hand

I’m rising above the dark clouds

Upon the karmic stairs

Looking down on all the people

Who can only sit and stare

I ride on a purple swan

Through the skies of crimson bells

Where the psychedelic sun brings Eden out of hell

Love is forgiving

Yes love is forgiving

I do not belong to eras

And I don’t belong in time

I belong to heroes

In a world that’s never blind

I’m living beyond the demons

Who turned off all our lights

And exploit the humans

 To burn they’re human rights

But I will ride the rainbow

Yes I will ride the rainbow

Cause love is forgiving

And love is giving

11. Impossible Mercy

(Mark Francis & Martin Cockerham,)

© 2009

And on that day

Love will come down

To take you away to her sound

Impossible Mercy

You won’t need to take all the love that you make

No longer a beggar alone at the gate

Impossible Mercy

The fire of the soul

I’m a friend of everyone

I’m standing in the sun

I don’t see the light

They just want to fight

Many leaders in those nations

Building armies for sensations

They are all Neros

They are all Zeros

They should lay their guns aside

And go and plough the fields

Soul dead armies we don’t need

All propelled by lust and greed

Terrorists and war like states

Bring the planet to disgrace

All of them are sins creations

Destruction just won’t do

What we need’s a global nation

Serving me and you

You’re a citizen of the air

You’re free to go anywhere

You don’t need a flight

You have the right

You’re a citizen of the earth

No one can take away your worth

You have the right

You don’t need to fight

Love provides for everyone

And no one’s left behind

What we need she gives if we’re kind

Those who are are cruel have all gone blind

They can’t see what they’ve left behind

When they did industrial crime

Building cities of death

That tower high into the sky

Where no springs are flowing from

From earth’s whole paradise

Everyone’s a super being

From a universal queen

We’re all meant to serve the team

Everyone’s a ship at sea

Still unsure of what to be

You’re a citizen of the earth

You’re a citizen of the air

You’re can go anywhere

You can go everywhere

Love provides for everyone

And no one’s left behind

What we need she gives if we’re kind

Those who are cruel have all gone blind

They can’t see what they’ve left behind

When they did industrial crime

Building cities of death

That tower high into the sky

Where no springs are flowing from

From the earth’s whole paradise

Now nobody hears the cries

Of earth’s whole paradise

Hamburger dreams have died

Development was only lies

Going off to space

To waste our money on their pride

Impossible futures

Unsustainable, soul denied

Just be a beggar

And beg with your bowl

Impossible mercy can make a man whole

Love will come down

Impossible mercy’s

The fire of the sun

Not nuclear fission

At war with the one

Impossible Mercy

12. Come What May

Radhe

(Martin Cockerham)

© 2009

Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe

As you’re looking out from your craggy walls

At the ships sailing by, for your cause

And your heart returns to where it was

As the evening draws a pause

And the waters of time cover all

At the end of the day

Come What May

Radhe Shyam

Sailors are scaling the walls

Kingdoms will rise and they’ll fall

Creation, waits humbly

The iron-robed emperor leads the armies of the dawn

To the gates of the storm

Just like heroes of old

I thought they had been vanquished

In stories once told

To children by hearths, in homes

Radhe Shyam

At the end of the day

Come what may Radhe

Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe

Oh Radhe Radhe Radhe Shyam

Oh Radhe Radhe Shyam

Oh Radhe Radhe Radhe Shyam

Oh Radhe Radhe Shyam

At the end of the day

Come what may

Radhe Shyam

Sailors are scaling the walls

The Kingdom of evil will fall

Creation, waits humbly

The iron-robed emperor leads the armies of the dawn

To the gates of the storm

Just like heroes of old

I thought they had been vanquished

In stories once told

To children by hearths, in homes

Radhe Shyam

At the end of the day

Come what may Radhe

Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe

Oh Radhe Radhe Radhe Shyam

Oh Radhe Radhe Shyam

Oh Radhe Radhe Radhe Shyam

Oh Radhe Radhe Shyam

Radhe Shyam Radhe Shyam

Radhe Shyam Radhe Shyam
